Valve Government Bids & RFPs

This contract purchase order contains requirements for the manufacture and quality of the valve, linear, direct. Government source inspection is required. All freight is FOB origin. The resultant award will be issued bilaterally, requiring contractor acceptance prior to execution. Verify nomenclature, part number, and NSN prior to responding. The material supplied shall contain no metallic mercury and be free from mercury contamination. Records of all inspection work must be kept for 365 calendar days after final delivery. Offerors must be authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item.

Vendor review of the IRPOd is mandatory. Pricing is valid for 60 days after closing date. Contractual documents are issued when deposited in mail, transmitted by facsimile, or sent by other electronic methods. The BPMI e-commerce website is moving to a new URL. If IRPOd calls for ****, advise manufacturer name and grade. If IRPOd calls for reports of test and inspection (ROTI), documentation is due 40 days prior to delivery. Mercury or mercury containing compounds shall not be intentionally added to or come in direct contact with hardware or supplies. Contractor shall provide and maintain an inspection system acceptable to the government. Contractor shall conduct first article test inspection on one unit(s) in accordance with IRPOd requirements. Packaging requirements for repair parts apply, including use of **** green poly bags if specified. Use of fire retardant packaging material is no longer required. Nuclear reactor publications not available from BPMI e-commerce website must be requested from the contracting officer. Commercial specifications, standards and descriptions may be obtained from publishers or societies. Information regarding abbreviations, symbols and codes on DD Form **** is provided. Distribution statements inform contractor of limits of distribution and safeguarding of information. Date of first submission for vendor certified reports of test and inspection is per contract delivery schedule. Authorization to ship material must be obtained from the PCO. A separate package will be prepared and submitted for each unique combination of contract number, national stock number, and item nomenclature. Date of first submission for procedure, drawing and other pre-manufacturing submittals is within 45 days after contract award.

The US Coast Guard is requesting quotations for a pressure reducing valve (part number **** 01- 644- ****). This is a commercial item procurement using simplified acquisition procedures.
