The Charter Township of Independence is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the renovation of two restroom facilities at Clintonwood Park. The project completion goal is Friday, June 26, 2026, with the aim to have the project or a portion of it complete before Saturday, June 27, 2026, when the park hosts a large festival.
The township will make payment in full after final inspection has been approved, upon receipt of an itemized invoice, and in accordance with the townships account payable schedule.
Warranty information is required as part of the proposal submission.
Proposals may be evaluated based on cost, experience with similar municipal projects, quality of materials, project timeline, references, responsiveness to RFP requirements, and warranty coverage.
Contractors shall be properly licensed in the state of Michigan and carry all required insurance in accordance with the townships standard contractor insurance requirements.
