The contractor shall complete the work required within 180 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed.

The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000.

The clause ****, warranty of construction, is supplemented as follows: Should the contractor fail to complete the work or fail to proceed promptly to provide guarantee period services after notification by the contracting officer, the government may, subject to the default clause contained at FAR ****, default fixedprice construction, and after allowing the contractor 10 days to correct and comply with the contract, terminate the right to proceed with the work or the separable part of the work that has been delayed or unsatisfactorily performed.

The government intends to award one firm-fixed-price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is fair and reasonable, and has been determined to be the most advantageous to the government, nonprice, price, and other factors considered.

Offerors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and must be certified SDVOB and verified in SBA's VetCert program database.

In the event the contract is terminated for default, the bidder is liable for any cost of acquiring the work that exceeds the amount of its bid, and the bid guarantee is available to offset the difference.

A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 10:00 am EST at the front of the Lake Nona Central Energy Plant CEP.

RFIs are due Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 11:00 am EST.

The bid notice states that the response deadline is May 20, 2026, at 12:00 PM PT. Delivery date is to be expressed as days after receipt of order.

The bid notice states that complete warranty information must be provided, including how district staff will access warranty service and parts. The district will require warranty documents with the delivery of the product, and the warranty may be a factor in award.
