Mechanic Biddings - Procurement Opportunities

This is a statement of work for the refurbishment of a military working dog facility at RAF Fairford. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to execute the complete refurbishment. The work must comply with various regulations and standards, including the 2018 USAF standard design for MWD facilities and DAFI **** days are Monday through Friday, excluding US federal and UK bank holidays. The contractor must coordinate and manage all activities, maintain a construction schedule, ensure site safety and security, follow applicable laws, codes, and regulations, and ensure quality assurance and inspection readiness. Additional requirements include security and safety procedures, contractor access to installations, deliverables, waste removal, material and equipment submittals, and environmental practices. This is a sources sought notice to identify contractors capable of fulfilling the requirement.

All responsible sources can submit a quote electronically. Quotes must be received on time. Delivery to Industries of the Blind Inc. is required for two lines of items.

The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source for supplies or services related to **** converters. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements. Proposals received within 45 days (30 days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. The subject item requires government source approval prior to contract award. Interested parties must submit the information detailed in the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) source approval information brochures. Additional documents, such as military and federal specifications and standards, qualified products lists (QPLs), qualified product databases (QPDs), military handbooks, and other standardized documents, can be obtained from the DOD Single Stock Point (DODSSP). The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. The government is not using the policies contained in FAR part 12, acquisition of commercial items, in its solicitation. One or more items under this acquisition are subject to free trade agreements, if DFARS clause ****, Buy American Act, free trade agreements, balance of payments program, is included in the solicitation. The World Trade Organization government procurement agreement and free trade agreements, if DFARS clause ****, trade agreements, is included in the solicitation.

This acquisition is for **** cartridge and propellant actuated devices and components. The government intends to make a single award to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is determined most advantageous to the government, price and non-price factors considered. An RFQ will be posted to NECO. The anticipated award date is December 23, 2025. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided. First article testing, production lot testing, contractor data requirements list, FOB origin and destination apply. This item contains explosives and a pre-award safety survey will be required. DFARS ****, safety precautions for ammunition and explosives applies. The acquisition contains explosive ordnance items which require special security, safety and transportation clauses. Technical data will be available for viewing on the web at sam. gov. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only two sources under the authority of FAR ****, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement with an offer, that if received in a timely manner, will be considered. The solicitation will be available no earlier than the response date for this synopsis.
