Bids are due by 3:00 PM local time on July 23, 2026. The project involves pedestrian improvements on Bedford Ave. and signal design improvements at the intersection of Hollins Mill Rd. and Bedford Ave. An optional virtual pre-bid conference is scheduled for June 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM. All requests for clarification must be submitted in writing by July 16, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Addenda will be posted by July 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Bids can be submitted by mail, hand delivery, or online. Late bids will not be considered. The contract award will be based on the lowest responsive base bid from a responsible bidder. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of experience in similar municipal work and submit a list of at least five completed projects. Performance and labor and material payment bonds will be required for 100% of the bid amount. Liquidated damages will apply for delays.
