This is a competitive sealed bid solicitation for the replacement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment in the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit (IPU) at the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center. The project includes replacing sinks, toilets, patient room doors, acoustical ceiling tiles, and installing ligature-resistant bottle filling stations. The contract is set aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. Proposals must be received by May 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM MT. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and verified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) as an SDVOSB at the time of offer submission. A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held on April 14, 2026. All questions must be submitted in writing via email by April 21, 2026.
The bid proposals must be received by email no later than May 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM MT.
The contractor shall provide a 1-year warranty on all items within the scope of this project, subject to latent defects, per **** Warranty of Construction.
This acquisition will utilize the tradeoff process in accordance with FAR ****, allowing tradeoffs between non-cost factors and cost/price to achieve best value. Past performance is evaluated as significantly more important than cost or price.
