The work must be completed within 90 calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed.

Payment is made on the third Tuesday of the month delivered.

The contractor shall guarantee all material and work performed for a period of 12 months after acceptance by the city, covering defective workmanship and/or material.

The contract will be awarded on the basis of the lowest total bid, from the lowest responsive, responsible, qualified bidder whose evaluation indicates to the city that the award will be in the best interests of the project and the city.

The successful bidder will be required to have completed ten hours of OSHA safety training before performing any work.

If a contractor is found not to have paid prevailing wages, the contractor shall forfeit as a penalty to the city one hundred dollars for each underpaid worker employed, for each calendar day, or portion thereof such worker is paid less than the said stipulated rates.

There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on August 6 at 10:00 am.

Failure to comply with insurance requirements may result in immediate forfeiture of license. The city reserves the right to reject the bid of any bidder it believes would not be in the best interest of the city to make an award to that bidder.

Bids must be delivered to the office of the Township Engineer on or before Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. must be delivered to the office of the township engineer, located on the second floor of the municipal building on or before the hour named above.
