The Kenton County Board of Education is seeking bids for graduation sundries and related services. This is a requirements contract for items such as caps, gowns, stoles, diplomas, and announcements for approximately 1,150 graduating students. Bids are due by June 19, 2026. The contract period is from August 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with potential annual renewals. The KCSD may make reasonable investigations to determine the ability of the bidder to perform the work and furnish the items. The bidder shall furnish all information and data requested for this purpose.
In case of default by the contractor, the board may procure the articles and services from other sources and may deduct the amount of excess cost so paid from any unpaid balance due to the vendor.
Samples may be required to assist in making decisions for awarding of contracts. The samples must be furnished by the time and date specified for the bid opening. Failure to furnish samples may disqualify the bid. Samples as indicated below: bidder shall include a sample cap, gown, tassel, stole, cord, announcements 2 and 3fold w envelopes, memory book, thank you note, envelope seals, class key chain, name cards, diplomas, diploma cover.
A protest or notice of other controversy regarding the solicitation must be filed prior to opening. A protest or notice of other controversy regarding an award must be filed promptly within fourteen 14 days after the award.
Failure to comply with instructions shall disqualify your bid. Bids received after the scheduled time of opening will not be opened. Any bids received unsigned shall be rejected. Failure to furnish samples may disqualify the bid.
