The City of Cedar Park is seeking proposals from qualified insurance carriers for voluntary worksite benefits. The product suite includes critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity insurance. Proposals are due July 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM Central and must be submitted electronically on Bidnet Direct. Key requirements include being a licensed insurance carrier in Texas, using a group platform, and partnering with NFP as the broker of record. The contract term is one year with up to four one-year renewals. Evaluation criteria include experience, vendor's ability to perform, and cost. Questions are due by June 30, 2026.

Undisputed payments will be submitted within thirty (30) days from receipt of original invoice. Undisputed payments will be submitted to proposer within thirty 30 days from receipt of original invoice.
Proposals will be graded on experience (25 points), city's evaluation of vendors ability to perform (35 points), and cost (40 points). Proposal responses will be graded on the following criteria: experience 25 points, city of cedar park's evaluation of vendors ability to perform 35 points, cost 40 points.

If the successful proposer fails to fulfill contract terms, the city may purchase services on the open market and charge the difference, deduct charges, or terminate the contract. If, at any time, the successful proposer fails to fulfill or abide by the terms, conditions, specifications, or performance requirements of this rfp, or any contract awarded and entered pursuant thereto, the city reserves the right to: purchase voluntary worksite benefits services on the open market and charge proposer the difference between its contract price and new contractors price.

Failure to sign the proposal response form, submitting late proposals, or offering benefits to city officials may result in disqualification. Failure to sign the proposal response form will disqualify proposer.
