This is a turnkey project for replacing existing patient ceiling lifts and installing new systems across various VA medical centers in VISN 6. The contractor must provide a technical and cost proposal for installation, including deinstallation of old equipment. New lifts must have a minimum capacity of 600 lbs, with bariatric lifts at 825 lbs. The contract is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a guaranteed minimum order of $5,000,**** and a maximum order value of $16,323,**** must comply with patient safety alert ****, and the contractor must provide training and complete weight/function testing.

The contractor must have visited the site and assessed the structure of each ceiling lift location to ensure safe installation of the equipment.
In the event of the contractors or a subcontractors noncompliance with this clause, this contract may be canceled, terminated, or suspended in whole or in part.
The maximum dollar value of supplies and services that may be ordered under this contract. . . shall not exceed 16,323,****.
