This is a bid submission for the purchase of approximately 45,000 pounds of deformed brass small arms cartridges (. 50 caliber and below). Bids are due by May 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST. Payment will be made by certified check or postal money order within 15 days of invoicing. The government will load materials into the buyer's container. The buyer is responsible for transportation and securing the load. The government reserves the right to vary the quantity by 10 percent. Buyers are cautioned about potentially dangerous substances. A deposit is required prior to pickup. The buyer must be a US citizen and eligible for export licenses. All agreement disputes will be resolved by the MCB Cam Lej QRP manager. Base access requires specific identification and vehicle documentation.
The bid deadline for submitting bids is May 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST. The successful bidder is required to contact MCB Cam Lej QRP within 4 business days from the date of award to arrange payment of deposit and subsequent pick up of the commodity. Collection of the commodity will occur between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, excluding federal holidays.
Payments will be made by certified check or postal money order made payable to the US Treasury, and shall be received by the MCB CamLej QRP office no longer than fifteen (15) days, excluding holidays, from the date of the invoice for no less than the amount invoiced. A 50% deposit is required by certified or company check made payable to the U. S. Treasury prior to pick up of the material. The buyer will be invoiced for the remaining balance after collection of the material. Payment must be made within fifteen (15) days upon receipt of the invoice.
Award will be given to the highest responsive and responsible bidder. When two or more highest bids are equal in all respects, award shall be made by drawing, limited to the highest equal bids.
The buyer must be a United States citizen and eligible to obtain a department of state, department of commerce, or office of foreign assets control export license. The buyer is required to report suspected instances involving fraud and abuse, theft or violation of the arms export control act, illicit diversion of U. S. export controlled technology, or other violations of U. S. export laws and regulations involving DOD programs and operations.
Failure to make payment will result in legal action to recover invoiced funds. MCB Cam Lej QRP may terminate this agreement in whole or in part for failure of the successful bidder to perform any of its obligations under the agreement. Upon default, successful bidder shall lose all rights, title, and interest in the property. Successful bidders who are terminated for default may be referred/recommended for debarment from purchasing any MCB CamLej QRP commodities.
