The City of Austin is seeking proposals for an urban forestry tree inventory on developed parkland. The inventory will serve as a management tool for the Urban Forestry Unit. Proposals are due by July 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST. A pre-offer conference is scheduled for June 24, 2026. Offerors must be qualified contractors with experience in urban forestry inventory projects and applicable technologies. ISA certified arborists are required for quality control. The evaluation criteria include qualifications, methodology, project management, price, personnel, and local/small business preferences.
Offers are due by Tuesday, July 14, 2026, before 2:00 PM CST.
All proper invoices received by the city will be paid within 30 calendar days of the city's receipt of the deliverables or of the invoice, whichever is later.
Proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications and experience, proposed methodology, project management structure and timeline, price proposal, personnel, and local/small business preference.
Offerors shall provide a description of their qualifications, including firm history, presence, experience in urban forestry inventory projects, and expertise in applicable technologies. They must have completed a minimum of three geolocated municipal tree inventory projects of comparable scope and scale.
The solicitation cover sheet will display if a site visit is being held and if attendance is mandatory.
Protests regarding the solicitation must be filed no later than five business days prior to the due date and time for proposals.
Proposals that are not minimally responsive may be deemed nonresponsive and rejected. An offeror may be rejected if determined to not be responsible.
