Purchase of three specific types of laser eyewear protection for police operations. Quotes are due by June 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM CDT. All questions must be submitted via email by June 3, 2026, at 4:00 PM CDT. Items quoted must meet or exceed City of Austin specifications. Quotes must be on an FOB destination basis with freight charges included. Descriptive literature must be submitted for non-referenced products. Award will be made to the lowest offer meeting minimum requirements. Payment terms are within 30 days of receipt of properly documented invoices and satisfactory delivery.

Payments shall be paid to contractor within thirty (30) days contingent upon receipt of properly documented invoices and satisfactory delivery of goods or performance of services.
All goods and services covered by this contract shall conform to specifications, be merchantable, fit for purpose, of best quality and workmanship, and free from defects. The city has the right to inspect and reject defective goods or require reperformance of services.
Award will be made to the lowest offer meeting any minimum requirements set forth in the solicitation. The city may compare quotes based on prices for individual line items, categories, or aggregate price.
The lowest offer will be reviewed to ensure minimum qualifications stated in the solicitation are met. The city reserves the right to require references from the lowest offeror prior to contract award.
If delivery is not completed by the promised times, the city reserves the right to cancel the contract, reject goods or services, and purchase substitute goods or services elsewhere, charging the contractor for any loss incurred.
If an alternative product is offered, samples shall be shipped at the respondent's expense to the Austin Police shipping address for evaluation and approval.
All questions shall be submitted via email by June 3, 2026, by 4:00 PM CDT. No questions will be accepted past this date.
Failure to submit materials specifications/descriptive literature as part of the offer may subject the offer to disqualification. Offerors must not be debarred from contracting with the city, other local governments, or the federal government.
