The high-field electromagnet system and bipolar power supply system are due no later than 6 weeks after receipt of order. The installation manual, utility requirements, and schematics are due after delivery, prior to installation. Installation support and verification are due within 2 weeks after delivery.

The contractor shall provide a commercial warranty for the entire system and provide, at minimum, a one-year warranty for all new equipment and services. The warranty shall cover all parts, labor, and travel. The warranty shall commence upon successful completion of delivery, after inspection and acceptance have been completed.

All items must be new. Used or remanufactured equipment will not be considered for award. Experimental, prototype, or custom items will not be considered. The use of gray market components are not acceptable.

No installation is required by the contractor. The contractor must be available by phone or video conference during this period to provide support should questions arise while NIST is installing the system.

The government shall have sole discretion to require repair or replacement of damaged and/or nonconforming supplies at no cost to the government. The government at any time prior to acceptance shall reject the equipment due to defects and/or nonconformance. The vendor is responsible for latent defects discovered any time after final inspection.

Award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest evaluated price, after evaluation of technical capability and past performance. Among all acceptable quotations, award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest evaluated price.

To establish technical capability, the quotation must demonstrate a clear understanding of the work statement requirements, conform strictly to all specifications, and provide adequate capability and corporate experience documentation. The estimated period of performance is August 10 to September 18, 2026.

Award will be made to the vendor whose response is most advantageous to the government, based on price, technical capability, and past performance.

Offerors must be registered and active in the SAM database. by submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee shall be registered in the sam database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation.
