Village Government Bids & RFPs

All work is to be performed and satisfactorily completed by December 1, 2026.

Contractor shall submit in duplicate invoice for payment on a monthly basis. Only inspected and approved work will be paid.

Award will be made to the firm who best meets the city's requirements and who offers the most advantageous combination of low price and high qualifications for all the criteria described in this document.

Qualified bidders must have provided at least two years professional tree pruning services for municipalities and must hold a valid state of California C27 or **** contractors license. Personnel must be qualified and trained in the tree maintenance industry, including staffing a manager who shall be an ISA certified arborist.

If the contractor fails to complete all work contracted to be done and performed within the time frame set forth in this contract, he shall become liable to the city for liquidated damages in the sum of one hundred dollars (****) for each and every day during which said work shall remain uncompleted.

Any bid may be rejected if it is conditional, incomplete or contains irregularities. Any requested changes to the contract must be included with bidders bid and the city, in its sole discretion, will determine whether or not to agree to these changes prior to bids award. Any changes not agreed to by the city will render the bids nonresponsive.

Bids must be received by 2:00 p. m. on August 4, 2026. until 2: 00 p. m. on august 4, 2026.

A maintenance bond for a period of two 2 years from the date of final acceptance will be required. A performance bond, payment bond, and maintenance bond for a period of two 2 years from the date of final acceptance, will be required

The due date for proposals is July 29, 2026.

A qualified source has the necessary equipment, vehicles, personnel, resources and current operations, recent experience within the past 3 years of performing services of a comparable size, scope and complexity, and OEM certified technicians.
