Cameron County is seeking proposals for law enforcement civil service exam preparation services. The selected firm will develop civil service exams for entry and promotional positions. Proposals are due by July 29, 2026. Questions must be submitted by July 17, 2026. The contract will be for 12 months with two optional 12-month renewals. Evaluation will be based on technical qualifications, staffing plan, firm's capability, and financial proposal.

The award will be made to the proposal determined to be the best value to Cameron County, based on responsiveness to technical qualifications (20%), staffing plan (20%), firm's capability (20%), and financial proposal/pricing (40%). Proposers must demonstrate resources, experience, and qualifications to provide law enforcement civil services exam administration services. They must provide a statement of qualifications including history, staff qualifications, licenses, references, and evidence of experience. firms that can adequately demonstrate that they have the resources, experience and qualifications necessary to provide law enforcement civil services exam administration services
Failure to comply with requirements, such as submitting proposals late or failing to sign bid pages, may result in disqualification or rejection. fps received later than the date and time above will not be considered.
