Fire Alarm Inspection, Testing, and Repair It is the intent of this Request for Proposals ( RFP) to establish a term contract to provide inspection, testing, and repair service for fire protection systems throughout various locations within City of Myrtle Beach facilities. This RFP seeks proposals for a term contract to provide inspection, testing, and repair services for fire protection systems across various City of Myrtle Beach facilities. Services include fire alarm and detection systems, fire sprinkler systems, and fire pump systems. A mandatory pre-proposal conference is scheduled for August 11, 2026. Proposals are due by September 1, 2026. Offerors must conduct thorough investigations and may schedule additional site visits after the mandatory meeting. The award will be made to the responsible offeror meeting specifications with the lowest cost, considering quality, service, delivery time, reputation, and past experience. A bid bond of 5% is required for proposals of $50,**** or more.

Proposals are due by Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM Eastern.

After acceptance by the City, payments shall be made to the contractor within thirty 30 calendar days of receipt of invoice.

Unless otherwise specified, the offeror shall unconditionally guarantee the items and workmanship being proposed.

The award will be made to the responsible offeror meeting the specifications and having the lowest possible cost consistent with the quality and service needed for effective use.

The City may make investigations to determine the ability of an offeror to furnish the required goods/services and may reject any offeror if the evidence fails to satisfy the City that such offeror is properly qualified.

If the offeror fails to deliver the supplies or perform the services within the time specified in the contract, the offeror shall pay liquidated damages of 'na' per calendar day of delay.

A mandatory pre-proposal conference is required. Offerors may schedule additional site visits after attending the mandatory meeting.

Concerns with a decision must be brought to the procurement agent within five 5 calendar days after the date the City posts a bid tab or the contract is awarded.

Evidence of collusion, attempts to improperly influence evaluation teams, inability to complete responsibilities, or unresolved disputes/defaults with the City may lead to disqualification.
