The solicitation is for a design-build project to replace roof systems at TX213, Bryan, TX. All requirements of the base MATOC volume 1 of 2 apply, unless noted otherwise. The contractor is responsible for all labor, equipment, supplies, consultant services, site investigations, surveys, analysis, sampling, testing, and verification of existing field conditions. Design and
construction must comply with the requirements in the RFP and the Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS). Demolition is included. The project includes verifying existing utilities, but upgrading them is not part of the project. Additional documents required include a contractors safety program, demolition plan, project schedule, scaffolding erection plan, accident prevention plan, activity hazard analysis, site safety health officer qualifications, design quality control plan,
construction quality control plan,
construction site plan, environmental protection plan,
construction waste management plan, progress photographs, certification, insurance, warranties, crane certificate of compliance, records of waste generated/diverted, preliminary/final as-built drawings. There are specific design requirements, milestones, and meetings. The contractor must comply with antiterrorism and operations security (OPSEC) requirements, including training, access, and security policies. Wage rates are specified.
