The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is seeking quotes for a 2-day training course on emerging technologies in the rail industry. The training will cover concepts and principles of emerging technologies, evaluation of potential impact on safety, identification of digital tools, implementation of data-driven strategies, evaluation of exemplar data, assessment of regulatory requirements, and international collaboration. The course will be delivered at the NTSB headquarters in Washington, DC. Quotes must be submitted in Adobe PDF format by 5 PM EST on July 16, 2025. Instructors must have at least seven years of experience in the area in which they are instructing, be recognized experts in specialized railroad technology, and demonstrate mastery of instructional competencies. The government will evaluate quotes based on price and non-price factors, including training experience, course outline, instructor qualifications, past performance, and price. The government reserves the right to reject any or all quotes if such action is in the public interest.
