This solicitation is for emulsion tank cleaning and repair services for the Stratford Maintenance Office. All information and changes will be posted on the website. TxDOT offers an early payment program for vendors providing a cash discount. The contract is for emulsion tank cleaning and repair services at the TxDOT Stratford Maintenance Office. This is an emergency purchase. Respondents must check the ESBD for updates. The order of precedence for documents is: Solicitation, TxDOT Terms and Conditions, and Statement of Work. Responses must be submitted as separate documents with specific naming conventions. Vendor must provide federal employer identification number. Preferences may be claimed under rule 34 TAC 20. 306. The response, including price, is irrevocable for 120 calendar days. Pricing must be F. O. B. destination, freight prepaid. Purchases are exempt from state and local sales tax and federal excise tax. Samples, when requested, must be furnished at no cost. TxDOT may test samples. Tie responses will be resolved by preferences or drawing lots. Delivery must be made within the days and hours stated in the solicitation. Failure to indicate delivery time obligates vendor to complete delivery in 14 calendar days. Inspections and tests may be performed by TxDOT. Vendor performance may be reviewed.
