Radiographs must be digital and transferred within 10 business days. Upon completion of services, the contractor will provide a listing of all DRC3 conditions rectified and any conditions of significance identified by the VAARNG dental team. Medical information will be documented in accordance with Department of the Army policy and updated in the approved Army National Guard automated system. The contractor shall develop and maintain records that fully document services performed, examination results, and names of soldiers referred to dental specialists, making these available to the VAARNG state surgeons office within 10 days of request. The oral health and readiness classification system is detailed in Appendix 5. 1. 10b. Authorized dental treatments are listed in Appendix ****, with specific funding requirements and limitations. Un-authorized dental procedures are also listed. The goal is to get soldiers from dental class 3 to dental class 2. Comprehensive treatment to dental class 1 is not authorized. Soldiers requiring extensive periodontal treatment will be disqualified from deployment and educated on the TRICARE dental program.
