The contractor shall provide venipuncture lab draws, collection of other specimens, specimen processing and storage until those specimens are picked up by a VA contracted courier to transport to an Eastern Oklahoma Health Care System VA Medical Center in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs VA and the Vinita Outpatient Clinic. The contract type is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), firm fixed price contract with a base year and nine (9) option years. The contractor shall be responsible for supervising the daily services provided under this contract by the contractors staff. The contractor shall be responsible for complying with all reporting requirements established by the contract. The contractor shall accept payment for services rendered under this contract as payment in full. VA beneficiaries shall not under any circumstances be charged nor their insurance companies charged for services rendered by the contractor, even if VA does not pay for those services.
