Payments will be a lump sum payment equal to the fixed price upon acceptable completion of the task order, or progress payments not to exceed the fixed price. Payments for other direct costs expenses will be made for actual substantiated costs not to exceed the total specified amount for expenses that are directly chargeable to and necessary for performance of the services. The contractor further warrants that all materials, equipment, and components furnished shall be new, free from defects, and shall conform to all specifications, drawings, and requirements of this contract. This warranty shall remain in effect for a period of one 1 year from the date of final acceptance of completed tasks by the alaska railroad corporation arrc, unless a longer period is offered by the manufacturer or the contractor, in which case the longer period shall apply.

An award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder that meets the requirements as set forth in the specifications and compliance thereof. All workers must attend an onsite preconstruction meeting prior to start of work.

It is anticipated that this project will have a total budget in the amount of 600, 000. This, however, is only an estimate the actual amount budgeted will vary based on annual project needs. This is the amount to be used for any of the bonding requirements.
