Hamilton County Schools (HCS) is seeking a qualified vendor for Phase II roof recovery services at Dalewood Middle School. Bids are due by July 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM. A mandatory pre-solicitation meeting is scheduled for June 18, 2026. The scope includes recovering an existing modified bitumen roof system with a new EPDM system, along with associated components and metal walls/soffit panels. Vendors must have a physical office within a 120-mile radius of the project site. A bid bond of 5% is required for bids equal to or exceeding $100,000, and a performance/payment bond is required for projects $100,000 or more. Pricing must be inclusive of all costs. HCS reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and award to other than the lowest bidder.

Vendors may be required to show they have the necessary facilities, ability, insurance, and financial resources. The installing company must have a staffed office within 120 miles of the project site. a bidder may be required, before the award, to show to the complete satisfaction of hcs that it has the necessary facilities, ability, insurance, and financial resources to provide the service or goods specified.
Failure to comply with specifications may result in removal from the bidder list for at least six months. Unauthorized contact after bid opening may cause disqualification. failure to comply with this section will result in removal of your firm from our list of bidders for at least six 6 months.
