The bid is for roof replacement at the C. C. Williams Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bids must be submitted by November 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM Central Time. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for November 13, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Award will be based on total cost. The contractor must provide insurance and comply with safety regulations. A vendor application is required. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The contractor must acknowledge the Supplier Diversity Program policy and submit the required documentation. Invoices must include detailed information about the work performed.
The bidder shall state the expected length of delivery time on the bid form.
The manufacturer shall provide the owner with the manufacturers warranty providing labor and materials to for 20 years from the date the warranty is issued. The contractor shall guarantee the workmanship and shall provide the owner with the contractors warranty covering workmanship for a period of 2 years from completion date.
Award will be made by total cost.
The contractor is required to have a vendor application on file with the mobile area water sewer system prior to receiving a contract.
The undersigned further agrees that, in case of failure on his part to execute the said contract and the bond within 10 consecutive calendar days after written notice being given of the award of the contract, the check or bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of this bid, not to exceed 10, 000, accompanying this bid, and the monies payable thereon, shall be paid into the funds of the board of water and sewer commissioners of the city of mobile, alabama as liquidated damages for such failure otherwise the check or bid bond accompanying this proposal shall be returned to the undersigned.
