This information will carry forward to a contract if awarded, therefore please ensure all information is correct. ** Entire Official Bid Document and Bid Bond ( if required) should be combined as one PDF and uploaded** The scope of work includes the demolition and removal of existing recreational facilities within the project area, including the basketball court, sand volleyball court, and Playground. Work shall include the removal of all associated site elements and infrastructure, including basketball goals and their concrete footings, the volleyball net system and footings and perimeter sand restraint, playground equipment, and playground surfacing ( mulch). The associated plastic curb around the playground area shall be salvaged and returned to the owner. Existing court and playground lighting fixtures, including light poles and concrete footers, shall be completely removed and properly disposed of off- site. Existing electrical power pedestal and disconnects are also to be completely removed and disposed of off- site. Following demolition, the site shall be fully regraded to establish positive drainage and eliminate any low points or areas of ponding. Final grading shall be smooth and uniform to match surrounding grades. Disturbed areas shall be seeded and covered with straw mulch to promote stabilization and prevent erosion until vegetation is established.
