This is a sources sought notice for market research regarding the rehabilitation of five existing bridges, nine timber cribbing walls, and trail improvements along the Rend Trail in New River Gorge National Park and Preserve. Responses are requested from both large and small businesses. The government anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this requirement. Bid, performance, and payment bonds are anticipated to be required. The project is located approximately 25 miles from nearest suppliers and lodging facilities. The park will remain open during construction, thus contract activities and logistics must be structured and scheduled to minimize visitor impact. The site requires protective measures to ensure the surrounding area remains undisturbed. The structure is a historic natural cultural resource. The anticipated period of performance is 24 months including any potential weather shutdown. There are no seasonal or other shutdowns mandated through the construction season and winter construction may be required.

The project involves renovating the east wing of Building 401 at Joint Base Langley Eustis. The renovation includes demolition, asbestos remediation, and upgrades to various building systems. Occupants will be temporarily relocated. The contractor must adhere to specific codes and regulations, including the latest editions of the International Building Code, International Mechanical Code, and others. The contractor must also submit a quality control plan and notify the contracting officer of work hours and intentions to work in classified areas. The estimated total value of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Foreign participation is not authorized.

Addendum No. 2 to the Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the Quincy Street Apartments exterior siding replacement project. Contractors are notified of changes to the scope of work, including removal and reinstallation of rain gutters, downspouts, doors, jambs, railing, wall-mounted exhaust vents, and light fixtures, and the application of new cement plaster to exposed wood siding walls and ceilings. Bidders are responsible for reviewing all items of the addendum.
