This is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) from the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) Purchasing Department for equipment rentals. Bids can be submitted electronically through BidExpress. com or in sealed envelopes. The bid opening is scheduled for June 3, 2026, at 9:30 a. m. Alaska time. Key requirements include acknowledging all addenda, and failure to do so may result in bid disqualification. Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted. The MOA reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. Questions regarding the ITB must be submitted in writing via email to ***@***. *. * no later than May 27, 2026, at 12:00 p. m. Alaska time. The delivery location for the equipment is **** Northwood Drive, Anchorage, AK 99502. The period of performance is from upon execution, or June 1, 2026, whichever is later, through May 31, 2027, with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. All items must be new and come with the manufacturer's warranty. The MOA does not guarantee minimum or maximum purchase quantities. Bidders must be responsible and responsive. Insurance requirements are detailed, including listing the Municipality of Anchorage as an additional insured on liability policies. A responsible bidder questionnaire may be required within five calendar days of a request.
The delivery is required no later than 06/30/2026.
The MOA standard payment terms are net 30. Bidders may offer discounts for prompt payment, with the minimum acceptable terms being 1% and net 15 days.
All items must come with the manufacturer's warranty, if supplied by the manufacturer.
Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in accordance with Anchorage Municipal Code sections ****, ****, ****, and ****, with preference to local bidders applied in accordance with section ****. Evaluation for determining the lowest bid will be made in the aggregate.

Prior to the Municipality of Anchorage entering into a contract with the contractor, the equipment proposed will, in conjunction with the contractor, be inspected and a written approval given for use by the administrator or his designee.
Failure to acknowledge addenda may result in bid being considered non-responsive. Bids not in compliance with requirements may be declared nonresponsive and held unopened. Bids will not be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of bid opening.
