This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Linkcrest Drive Drainage Improvements project for Tarrant County Engineering Services Department. The purpose is to reduce future maintenance costs and address current drainage concerns by implementing a permanent solution with a concrete flume. Bids will be evaluated and awarded to the lowest total bid meeting specifications. Bidders are encouraged to download all bidding documents from the attachments tab prior to the prebid meeting. A mandatory in-person prebid conference will be held on May 27, 2026. Vendors planning to attend must RSVP via email by May 26, 2026. Questions from bidders will be addressed at the prebid conference. Vendors submitting a bid without attending the prebid conference do so at their own risk and waive any right to assert claims due to undiscovered conditions. Required attachments include diversity certifications and three references. Insurance requirements include Workers Compensation, Commercial General Liability, and Auto Liability. The bid period for acceptance is ninety (90) calendar days. The supplier must agree to various terms and conditions, including not preparing the bid in collusion with others and assigning all claims for overcharges under antitrust laws to Tarrant County.
The bid submission deadline is June 15, 2026, at 02:00 PM CT. The estimated calendar days to complete the project are to be provided as per clause VIII of the Statement of Work document.
The seller warrants that the goods furnished will conform to the specifications, drawings, and descriptions listed in the bid invitation and to the samples furnished by the seller, if any. The seller warrants that the product sold to the county shall conform to the standards promulgated by the U. S. Department of Labor under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) of ****.
Bids will be evaluated and awarded to the lowest total bid meeting specifications.
Bidders must provide three references, other than past or present employees of Tarrant County, who can verify their performance as a vendor, including sales and/or service, delivery, invoicing, and other items required to determine the vendor's ability to provide the intended goods or service. Tarrant County prefers references from government customers. Inaccurate, obsolete, or negative responses from references could result in rejection of the bid. Failure to supply the required references will deem the bid as non-responsive.
All bidders are encouraged to attend a prebid conference to be held in person on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 3:00 p. m. , CST, at Tarrant County Plaza Building, 1st Floor Kornfeld Room Auditorium, 200 Taylor Street, Fort Worth, Texas 761960104. There is no opportunity for remote attendance. Vendors planning to attend must RSVP via email by 5:00 p. m. , CST, Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
Any vendor who submits a bid without attending the scheduled prebid conference does so at his own risk. Such applicant who submits a bid and does not attend the scheduled prebid conference waives any right to assert claims due to undiscovered conditions.
