This tender seeks repair and overhaul of electrical motors. The resultant award will be issued bilaterally, requiring the contractor's written acceptance prior to execution. Offerors must be authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item. The contractor is responsible for all
inspection requirements and must obtain final
inspection and acceptance by the government for all assets within the established repair turnaround time (RTAT). The repair price must include all costs associated with receipt and complete repair of material, including handling damage, missing parts, wear damage, and cav reporting. The vendor shall have 90 days after receipt of the carcasses to complete a teardown evaluation and submit a firm fixed-price quote for the full repair effort. The quote shall specify any exceptions, including but not limited to MIL-STD packaging, MIL-STD labeling,
inspection acceptance locations, packaging house, surplus materials, etc. The contractor must provide a signed letter of authorization as a distributor on the OEM's letterhead if they are not the original end manufacturer. If the requirement will be packaged at a location different from the offeror's address, the offeror shall provide the name, street address, and CAGE of the packaging facility. The contract will be deemed certified for national defense under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS). Applicable documents, ordering information, and product information are available from the Department of Defense Single Stock Point (DoD SSP). The material supplied must contain no metallic mercury and be free from mercury contamination. Records of all
inspection work must be kept complete and available to the government during the performance of the contract and for a period of 365 calendar days after final delivery of supplies.
