Colquitt County is accepting sealed bids for two new 2-ton pickup trucks. Bid specifications are available at the purchasing department in the Colquitt County Courthouse Annex. Sealed bids must be submitted to the County Purchasing Department by Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 10:10 AM. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:30 PM. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 30 days after the opening time. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Questions should be directed to the County Purchasing Agent and Public Works Superintendent.

Bids are being accepted for investigation supplies and equipment for the Cherokee Nation Marshal Service. Bids are due July 2, 2025, by 5:00 PM. Indian preference will be given to bidders who provide proof of current certification from the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Office (TERO). Bidders must follow all directions outlined in the bid packet, including the utilization of the mandatory bid response sheet. The lowest, most responsive, responsible bid will be the determining factor in awarding the bid. The successful bidder will be issued a purchase order incorporating the bid response. Bids may be faxed or emailed. The nation reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bidders are responsible for any and all costs associated with the preparation and submission of bids. Conditional bids will not be accepted. The nation may make investigations to determine the bidder's ability to perform the work. The responding party certifies that they are not presently debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, or declared ineligible for the award of contracts by any federal agency or Indian tribe. The responding party also certifies that they have not, within a three-year period preceding this request for proposal, been convicted of or had a civil judgment rendered against them for certain offenses. The responding party shall provide immediate written notice to the Cherokee Nation if, at any time prior to contract award, the person learns its certification was erroneous when submitted or has become erroneous by reason of changed circumstances. All sums due to any suppliers utilized by successful bidders must be paid or will be paid within ten (10) days of receipt of any money received from the Cherokee Nation under any purchase order. A prospective contractor seeking to receive Indian preference under this contract must be certified as an Indian-owned firm by the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) and submit proof of that certification with their bid. No bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty (30) days after the bid opening date.

This micro purchase will be awarded as a whole or by line item, whichever is in the best interest of the city, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Seller must quote all items in order to be eligible for award as a whole. Do not deliver or provide services until notified by department. The bid opening date is 06/16/2025 12:00:00 AM.
