Ogden City is seeking proposals for the construction and installation of an
airport baggage conveyor and oversized luggage chute at the OgdenHinckley
Airport. Sealed proposals must be submitted to the Purchasing Office by July 29, 2025, at 11 AM. Proposals must include detailed information on the proposer's experience, team, cost proposal, references, design, schedule, and availability. The evaluation criteria include design and functionality, capability and experience, availability and response time, and cost. Insurance requirements, including commercial general liability, business automobile liability, and workers compensation, are specified. Qualified respondents must be licensed contractors in Utah, meet Ogden City's insurance and bonding requirements, and have experience with the scope of work. A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for July 15, 2025, at 9 AM at the Ogden Hinckley
Airport terminal. Proposals exceeding 20 pages (double-sided pages count as two) will not be accepted. The project is funded by an FAA grant, requiring compliance with Buy American, Davis-Bacon, and other federal requirements. Price guarantees are required for one year, with any price adjustments requiring a similar guarantee period and 30 days' prior notice. Invoices must include a complete description of the work, contract price, purchase order number, and delivery address. The city seeks a discount for early payment. The RFP document will become part of the final contract.
