The United Independent School District is soliciting bids for administrative services only (ASO) for self-insured health benefits and stop loss coverage. The deadline for questions is January 29, 2026, and the response deadline is February 2, 2026. The proposal opening will take place on February 12, 2026. Bidders must submit various forms and attachments via the eBid portal. The district reserves the right to award as may be in its best interest. The contract term is 60 months with the option to renew yearly. Delivery must be within 30 days after awarding the contract. The district will make payments within 30 days after receiving the goods or services or the invoice, whichever is later. Vendors must notify the district within 7 days of any company changes affecting the validity of submitted forms. The district may extend the proposal on a monthly basis if needed.
The district must have delivery within 30 days after awarding of contract unless otherwise specified within specifications.
Payment by the district will be made within 30 days after the date on which the district receives the goods under the contract or the date on which the performance of services under the contract was completed, or the date on which the district received the invoice for the goods or services, whichever is later.
Bidder must submit warranty information and service agreement information together with the bid. Failure to provide such information may be cause for rejection of the bid.
In determining to whom to award a contract, the district shall consider the purchase price, the reputation of the vendor and of the vendors goods or services, the quality of the vendors goods or services, the extent to which the goods or services meet the districts need, the vendors past relationship with the district, the impact on the ability of the district to comply with laws and rules relating to historically underutilized businesses, the total longterm cost to the district to acquire the vendors goods or services, and any other relevant factor specifically listed in these specifications.
The district may make such investigations as deemed necessary to determine the qualifications and or ability of the bidder to perform in accordance with the bid terms and conditions specified herein. The bidder shall furnish to the district all such information as the district may request.
Substitutions from the brands proposed will not be accepted unless approved in writing by the purchasing director. Samples of possible substitution items may be requested at that time.
