Snow Child Government Bids & RFPs

The contractor shall clear snow and ice from all areas identified in section 5 i. e. , sidewalks, landings near door entrances an entrance ramps of facility to provide secure footing conditions. Overnight snow must be cleared when snowfall exceeds 2 of accumulation by 0500hrs. monday friday. Snow accumulation shall not reach more than 2 of depth at any designatedchild development center or school age program cdcsap facility during its hours ofoperations of 0600hrs. 1800hrs.

The government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose qoute conforms to the solicitation and is the most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. Factors being utilized to evaluate offers are: 1. price: complete price schedule on the attachment titled: combined synopsis solicitation 2. technical acceptability: o submit technical approach in accordance with perfromance work statement pws do not restate pws this is not acceptable. 3. options: fill out pricing information for option years in the pricing schedule on page 3 of the attachment titled: combined synopsis solicitation.

Before beginning work against this contract personnel must be properly trained on all equipment to perform outlined duties.

A site visit for this requirement will be on 20 october 2025 at 1: 00pm akdt. The meeting location will be at the fort richardson gate visitor control center. All contractors who provide goods services to the dod must be registered in the system for award management sam.

Sealed bids will be accepted until 4:00 PM local time on October 6, 2025.

Payment will be made on a monthly basis following submission of the appropriate invoices to city.

The successful bid will not be selected solely on monetary criteria. Previous records of performance of similar work and references will be used. Comparison of equipment size and condition will also be used.

All bidders will describe in detail his experience, personnel, and equipment resources. References from previous work are required. A copy of current Alaska business license and City of Valdez business registration must be included with the bid.

The penalty for not performing lot cleanup shall be loss of retainer and loss of the contract.

Bidders must visit the site to ascertain pertinent local conditions such as the location, accessibility, and general character of the site, labor conditions, the character and extent of existing work within or adjacent thereto, and any other work performed thereon.
