The project includes disconnecting, removing, and disposing of the existing system, and installing a new Monaco MAAPX addressable fire alarm system. This tender seeks a contractor to upgrade the Giant Voice (GV) system at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL). The upgrade will cover the Dix, Ranges, and Lakehurst areas, ensuring interoperability with the recently upgraded McGuire phase 1 system. The contractor will utilize existing RF infrastructure and provide a turnkey solution. Key requirements include: using existing central control consoles, optimizing siren speaker volume to prevent bleed-over, providing intelligible voice coverage, and pre-programming various messages (e. g. , attack warnings, weather alerts). The contractor must comply with safety, security, and environmental regulations, including obtaining necessary permits. A weekly Integrated Product Team (IPT) meeting is required. A one-year warranty is included. Deliverables include as-built drawings, a work schedule, status reports, meeting minutes, a test plan, a test report, a training plan, and more.
