The tender is for the construction of a
security vestibule gym HVAC system at Wynbrooke Elementary
School. The contractor is responsible for supplying materials, labor, tools, and equipment, performing demolition, installing HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and other work as identified in the drawings. The bidder must pay all sales tax, coordinate deliveries, obtain permits, comply with codes, minimize damage to surrounding structures, and restore any disturbed areas. The contractor must keep the work area clean and coordinate work with the project manager and stakeholders. Mobilization and commencement of work must occur by May 2026, with substantial completion by September 2026, and final completion within 30 days of substantial completion. The contractor will be allowed to work evening and weekend hours, but facility operations must not be interrupted. Additional documents, including a site safety plan, site
security plan, and a detailed construction schedule, are required. The contractor must input all construction phase documentation into Kahua project management software. The owner is responsible for providing the proper drums for hazardous material disposal. The contractor is responsible for removing and separating ballasts, properly loading metal drums, and providing a manifest for each shipment. Inspections of drums will be made on a random basis. The owner will provide written and tangible material concerning conditions below ground at the site. The owner will obtain all required easements. The contractor must provide a warranty for their labor. The contractor must perform all work in strict compliance with the contract documents. The contractor must submit a detailed and comprehensive as-built drawings upon final completion of the project. The contractor must perform a criminal background check on all individuals providing services on the premises. The contractor must maintain the project site in a reasonably clean condition during performance of the work. The owner and architect may enter upon the project site and review or inspect the work without formality or other procedure. The contractor must provide a detailed critical path CPM schedule for timely completing the work. The schedule must be updated no less frequently than monthly. The contractor must comply with the requirements of exhibit F, minimum requirements for contractor's schedule of construction.
