This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) from the U. S. Geological Survey (USGS) for the dismantling and removal of two discontinued cableway structures and associated components located at two separate field locations in Arizona and California. The work includes removal of structures, cables, saddle blocks, u-bars, a-frames, and all associated equipment, as well as transportation and proper disposal of all debris. The contractor must complete all work within 90 calendar days after notice to proceed and submit a progress schedule within five calendar days after notice to proceed. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for April 7, 2026, with specific times and locations provided for each site. Contractors must RSVP by April 3, 2026. All questions must be submitted via email by April 14, 2026. Required documents with the quote submission include a signed SF18, firm-fixed price quote for both sites, technical capability statement, and completed FAR representations and certifications. Quotes must be valid for a minimum of 30 calendar days after RFQ closing. The period of performance is from May 4, 2026, to August 4, 2026. The contractor shall complete all work within 90 calendar days after notice to proceed (NTP).
Payment requests must be submitted electronically through the U. S. Department of the Treasury's Invoice Processing Platform (IPP). The contract incorporates electronic invoicing and payment requirements.
Award will be made on an all-or-none basis. The government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The evaluation factors include technical capability, price, and past performance.
Offerors shall provide pricing for both 2 sites. Partial quotes will not be accepted. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, transportation, supervision, and materials necessary to perform the work. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required permits, licenses, and approvals necessary to perform the work.
A site visit will be conducted for this requirement on April 7, 2026. Contractors shall attend the site visit in the order and timeframes below, late arrivals will not be accommodated. RSVP is required by April 3, 2026.
