Adding the additional earthwork would have significantly increased the overall bid amount. Therefore, paving was completely removed from the contract and the additional earthwork was added. This project will only address bituminous repair efforts along Bunches Creek, Maple Creek Road and Maple Creek Subdivision Road. The replacement of 20 Linear Foot of 24 HDPE pipe for drainage from sub- drain and drainage from behind the storage building. Replace in kind Concrete block steps at the back of residence. County/FEMA has reconstructed her driveway, the remaining work will consist of repairing a sinkhole in the driveway and paving and guardrail for safety. The Clyde Mullins site will consist of a 128 LF Reinforced Concrete Wall to stabilize the area behind his house. The construction of 64 LF of subdrain will drain runoff that is running behind the Ruth Mullins residence. The subdrain from the Reinforced Concrete Wall will be tied to a junction box that will collect water from the yard and carry it in a replaced 18 HDPE pipe across the drive. Additional subdrain is added to remove water from a portal behind the house above Clydes. The subdrain will be tied into the backfill from an existing AML gabion wall in front of the house.

Project limits for the offsite waste area include 9. 0 acres with an expected disturbance of 1. 5 acres. Within the project limits a total of 0. 1 acres of trees will be disturbed. The waste area was previously disturbed and does not involve tree removal. The project boundary is primarily residential including houses, outbuildings, and driveways. A previously unfinished AML project will be completed. Drainage structures and retaining walls will be constructed in the yards, behind the houses and structures and along the driveways. The project site is characterized by a small slide, previously closed wildlife accessible and non- wildlife accessible closures, and seepage from the portals and slide. The slide damaged an existing storage building on the property, which was subsequently replaced following clean- up of the slide by the property owner. However, there remains a significant amount of seepage from the open portals and throughout the material on the upper bench and below at the elevation of the property owners residence.
