The City of Dalton seeks proposals for the construction of synthetic turf field replacement at Broaddus/Durkin soccer fields. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for August 12, 2026, at 10:00 am at the Mack Gaston Community Center. Proposals must be submitted by September 1, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Evaluation prioritizes the proposed synthetic turf system (durability, safety, warranty) and the total contract price. Contractors must be approved vendors and may be required to provide references.

Contractors must be approved active vendors, and for specialty work, only licensed subcontractors may be submitted. any contractor that intends to submit a proposal must complete the city of dalton vendorpacket and be an approved active vendor with the city.
The bid bond amount constitutes liquidated damages if the contractor fails to execute the agreement or furnish required bonds. the contractor agrees that the amount of this bid bond as set forth hereinabove constitutes a proper andlawful sum for liquidated damages which the city will sustain in the event contractor fails or refuses toexecute the agreement or fails or refuses to furnish the required payment and performance bonds.
