The Town of Charlestown is accepting bids for a bituminous overlay project on the Charlestown Town Beach Parking Lot. The project involves 930 tons of Class II bituminous concrete. The bid award will be made using an evaluated method based on cost, ability to perform the work, highway overlay experience, bidder reputation, and other criteria. Bid prices are valid from the date of receipt and cannot be withdrawn before June 30, 2020. The bidder must provide certified payrolls to the treasurer prior to payment release. The project is a prevailing wage project. The bidder must use certified materials and methods conforming to Rhode Island DOT specifications. The bidder is responsible for sweeping, debris removal, and other site preparation tasks. The bidder must also provide traffic control personnel and equipment. The bidder must list a heavy truck towing company within 15 miles of the work site.

Sealed bids are requested for a 150 kW diesel generator for the Charlestown Town Hall. The bid must include all costs, labor, materials, permits, setup, breakdown, disposal, and environmental fees for a turnkey operation. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond, inspect the site, remove the existing generator, and schedule work to minimize disruption to town hall activities. Prevailing wage requirements apply, and certified payrolls must be submitted. Insurance requirements are detailed in the specifications. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for August 14, 2018.

Proposals are due August 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM local time. The project is located on the Trabuco Ranger District, Cleveland National Forest, Riverside County, California. The contract requires a bid guarantee for proposals exceeding $150,000. Payment will be made through the USDA Forest Service's Invoice Processing Platform (IPP). The contractor must begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 158 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed.
