Payment terms are net 30 days unless the vendor quotes otherwise. Cash discounts allowing less than 20 days or 20th proxima will not be considered.
All materials and workmanship shall be guaranteed for a lifetime limited warranty from the date of acceptance of work, including metal work, painting, stripes and decals, mechanical repairs, and parts.
The Harbor Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids, award bid as a whole, split award or delete line items, as it may deem necessary, unless otherwise stated herein.
To meet the minimum qualifications required, and as part of the determination of responsiveness, the bidder must have demonstrated successful experience in providing related services, as stated herein, for at least three years. The bidder must also have at least three years of experience, within the past ten years, repairing law enforcement vehicles.
If the repair or delivery does not occur within the original estimated time schedule, the contractor shall pay to the city the sum of one hundred (****) dollars per day for each calendar day delay in completing the vehicle repairs.
Failure to properly complete required information, failure to submit invoice copies, failure to furnish illustrative and technical data, failure to state deviations in a letter, or failure to submit proof of insurance within 10 days upon receipt of notice of intent to award may deem the bid nonresponsive or void the bid.
Total expenditures under this contract are estimated to be $100,**** annually.
