NHCC seeks qualified consultants for a multiyear contract to design, draft, and implement comprehensive water management and treatment plans to reduce legionella and other waterborne pathogens risks. The scope covers assessments, plan development (aligned with ASHRAE 188 & CDC toolkit), and monitoring for NUMC and AHP facilities. The contract is a time and materials (TM) contract with a 2-year base period plus extensions. A site walkthrough is optional on August 13, 2026. Proposals are due August 28, 2026. Vendors must be licensed in Nassau and New York and provide references from at least three healthcare clients. vendor must be licensed to do business in the county of nassau and the state of new york.
If services are omitted or unsatisfactory, NHCC may deduct an appropriate amount from the contractor's invoice. if the contractor fails to correct the deficiency within thirty 30 days after receipt of written notice, the applicable nhcc department may deduct an appropriate amount reflecting the deficient or omitted work from the contractors invoice for the period covered.
