The bid notice states that sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM CDT on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Bids received after the above-designated date and time will not be opened and will be rejected.

The Village of Cold Spring reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder if deemed in the best interest of the village to do so.

Qualifications shall include a minimum of five (5) previous projects and a minimum of five (5) years of work similar in size and scope. References shall be provided for these projects with the location, date of work, project cost and a reference contact name and telephone number and attached to the proposal.

There may be deduced from the amount payable to the contractor by the owner under this contract a penalty of five (5. 00) dollars for each person for each calendar day during which such person was discriminated against or intimidated in violation of section 200e provided, that for a second or any subsequent violation of the provisions of said paragraph, his contract may be canceled or terminated by the owner and all monies due or to become due hereunder may be forfeited.

If someone from your office would like to inspect the location, please contact the plant operator at **** to organize a time to visit the site at the operator's convenience.

The contractor shall submit samples of fence fabric for review.

Failure to be registered with NYSDOL may result in bid rejection.

The bids must be submitted no later than 10:00 a. m. local time on June 23, 2026.

The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with the public bid law, and to disregard all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional bids.

Bidding documents are available to contractors who are properly licensed in Louisiana or to bona fide suppliers of materials and equipment.

A pre-bid conference will be held on June 9, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. at the St. Charles Parish Department of Recreation, 274 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway, Luling, LA **** of the pre-bid conference is non-mandatory.
