Yonkers Public Schools is seeking proposals for in-person enrichment programming for Extended Learning Time (ELT) programs at 4 schools. The contract period is from September 3, 2026, to June 23, 2027. Proposals must be submitted electronically by August 21, 2026, 2:00 PM EST. A Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) certification is mandatory for award. Programming areas include arts, STEM, and environmental sustainability. Staffing requirements include 2-3 staff members per site, daily presence, background checks, and experience with K-8 students. The evaluation criteria include program quality, provider experience, MWBE certification, and cost-effectiveness. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Proposals must be submitted by Friday, August 21, 2026, by 2:00 PM EST. No late submissions will be accepted under any circumstances.
Payments for services shall be billed and payable on a monthly basis. all requests for payment requisitions must include the following: 1. Cover letter on the consultants letterhead with original signature requesting payment.
Proposals will be evaluated based on program quality and curriculum design (30%), experience and qualifications of provider (30%), MWBE certification (15%), and budget and cost effectiveness (25%). If two offers are found to be substantially technically equivalent, price shall be the basis for determining the award recipient.
Proposers must be certified MWBE providers. All staff must pass background checks and fingerprinting and have experience working with K-8 students. Having a valid, active MWBE certification is a prerequisite condition for potential award.
The deadline for receipt of written questions is Friday, August 7, 2026, by 2 PM EST. Answers to all inquiries will be in writing and made available to all prospective vendors in the form of a formal addendum to the rfp.
Failure to submit a complete and accurate vendor background questionnaire may result in bid rejection. Failure to possess a valid MWBE certification will result in instant disqualification. Proposers may be disqualified for failure to submit any required attachment, exhibit, or for submitting incomplete or nonresponsive information.
