The vendor must complete post-test fractographic characterization and analysis of room and elevated temperature specimens and provide a summary of data in addition to fractographic analysis. The vendor must provide updates on fatigue testing to allow adjustments to conditions if necessary. The vendor must provide a final report in the form of a journal article and summary slides. The vendor must provide updates on any characterization of provided specimens before and after testing. NASA will provide detailed test matrices and discuss as necessary. The contractor must ship all deliverables and returned samples to the Marshall Space Flight Center.

The procurement is justified as sole source due to proprietary rights, exclusive licensing, and the lack of suitable alternatives.
