Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is seeking proposals for survey term contracts for traffic design engineering services. Six agreements are anticipated, each around $250,000, for a three-year term (September 2026 - August 2029). Proposals are due by 3:00 PM MST on August 7, 2026, submitted electronically via the State of Montana File Transfer Service. Montana Professional Land Surveyor licensure is required at the time of proposal submission. Work involves various types of surveys for highway, bridge, and facility design. Electronic deliverables must be compatible with MDT's software. Evaluation criteria include team qualifications, approach to task assignments, and past performance. No DBE goals are set, but utilization is encouraged.
