This is a request for white papers related to space technology advanced research, fasttracking innovative software and hardware. The deadline for submitting questions is September 10, 2024. The opportunity is a one-step call. Prior versions of the opportunity are superseded. The government is re-opening the opportunity to allow for submissions. The white papers must adhere to specific formatting and length requirements. Submissions are to be sent via DOD Safe to the identified contracting officers. This notice outlines a multi-phased, competitive process for awarding contracts or agreements for prototype projects related to enhancing the mission effectiveness of special operations forces. Six Areas of Interest (AOIs) are defined, and solution briefs are requested. Solution briefs for AOIs 1-4 are due by December 20, 2024; AOI 5 by January 10, 2025; and AOI 6 by May 14, 2025. The process involves initial submissions (solution briefs), potential phase II evaluations (pitches/demonstrations), and phase III proposal development. Awards will be primarily firm fixed-price contracts or other transaction agreements (OTAs). Companies must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and potentially Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Non-government advisors may be used in the evaluation process.
