The City of Mount Clemens is seeking sealed bids for shingled roof replacement at two community center buildings. Bids are due by Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 9:00 a. m. Bids can be submitted electronically through the bidnet mitn procurementsystem or emailed to ***@***. *. * are attached. All federal, state, and local codes and ordinances must be followed. Permits must be pulled with Mount Clemens. Questions and site walkthrough coordination requests should be directed to Karl Haye at **** x 520 or ***@***. *. * questions can be sent to Jillian Ross at ***@***. *. * requirements include a 5% bid bond, 100% performance bond, 100% maintenance bond, 100% labor and materials bond, and 100% payment bond. Vendors must provide references, a noncollusive affidavit, insurance certificates, and material safety data sheets if applicable. The city reserves the right to award bids on individual items, groups of items, or the entire list, and to reject any or all bids.
The bid must be submitted by Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 9:00 a. m. The time of delivery shall be stated as the number of calendar days following receipt of the order by the vendor to receipt of the goods or services by the city.
Invoices will be paid on a net 30 basis from the date of invoice.
Where applicable, please indicate warranty information on the bid form.
The city reserves the right to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the city, including bids that are not for the lowest amount. Time of delivery may be a consideration in the award.
The City of Mount Clemens intends to receive bids from qualified roofing contractors.
