Butts County Fire Department is soliciting bids for
uniforms, footwear, patches, and embroidery services. Bids are due October 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM local time. Questions should be submitted to ***@***. *. * by September 24, 2025, at 2:00 PM. The first addendum, if required, will be posted on the county website by September 26, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Bidders must review the county website for any additional addenda. The written bid documents supersede any prior communications. The county reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bids may be split or awarded in entirety. The county reserves the option to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with the lowest responsive, responsible bidders. All prices must include shipping and delivery cost to Butts County, Georgia. The successful bidder will be required to execute a contract for a twelve-month period, with the option to renew up to three additional years. The contract may be renewed up to three additional twelve-month periods by mutual written consent of both parties with no changes in terms and conditions. The contractor must meet all bid specifications and requirements. The county will not accept any substitutions or alternatives on brand or model number on coat, shirts, trousers or shoes. Vendors must provide uniform deliveries and pickup to the Butts County fire facility as well as provide a representative to measure employees for
uniforms on site at the facility. Items shall be new, used, rebuilt or refurbished items will not be considered or accepted. The manufacturers standard model in current production shall comply with all performance specifications including all standard functions and accessories as advertised or otherwise represented by the bidder and/or the manufacturer. Price must be total delivery price per item to include embroidery, screen printing and attachments of patches as applicable, as well as shipping cost to Butts County fire services. The county is exempt from federal excise tax or Georgia sales tax regarding goods and services purchased directly by Butts County. Exemption certificates furnished upon request.
