The US
Army Corps of Engineers, Washington Aqueduct, is seeking a contractor for fire
extinguisher inspection, certification, and maintenance services. The contract will have a base year and four option years of 12 months each. The anticipated contract will be set aside for small businesses. The official request for quotes (RFQ) is expected to be posted in the procurement integrated enterprise environment (PIE) and SAM. gov on or around June 30, 2025. Delivery of all materials will be coordinated with the requesting unit local POC and made at the physical address identified in section 3. 3. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform inspections, maintenance, and certifications of fire
extinguishers. The contractor shall schedule annual inspection and maintenance of fire
extinguishers in coordination with the Washington Aqueduct POC. All work performed must be completed within 30 days of the start date. All work, services, and deliveries must be done during business days between the hours of 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The contractor shall honor all Washington Aqueduct holidays. Security requirements apply to all contract personnel. Initial training must be completed within 30 days of contract award or the date new contract personnel begin performance on the contract. The contractor shall provide a contract manager and an alternate. The supplier shall mail the original delivery invoices to: USACE Finance Center, **** Integrity Drive, Millington, TN ****, ATTN: EFT Disbursing, and a copy to: Washington Aqueduct, **** Macarthur Blvd. , N. W. , Washington, ****, ATTN: Support Management Services.
